Carl Whaley, a Sign Shop Trade Technician for the Charleston County Public Works Department replaces street signs that were recently torn down. During the last week of July, the Charleston County Public Works Department had to replace five street signs on James Island in neighborhoods along Ft Johnson Road and in Riverland Terrace. It costs up to $195 for the Charleston County Public Works Department to make and replace a single street sign.
