Critical Home Repair Application Period Closed

Charleston County Council allocated $4 million of American Rescue Plan Act funds to repair the homes of County homeowners who are 62 years of age and older. Applications were accepted for the program from July-October 2022.

The Community Development and Revitalization Department collaborated with organizations that had expertise in operating a home repair program.

Repair Services Have Included:

• Roof replacement
• Interior damage caused by a leaky roof
• Handicap-accessible modification, ramps
• Weatherization
• Insulation
• HVAC
