Critical Home Repair Program
The CHR application acceptance will close on October 28th, 2022 at 5PM.
Eligibility requirements:
- Be a Charleston County Resident
- Be 62 or older
- Meet Low-to-Moderate Income Guidelines (view guidelines)
- Reside in the home at the time of the request for assistance
- Own the home or demonstrate ownership interest/rights if heirs' property
The Critical Home Repair Program is designed to make homes livable and safe; projects requiring substantial rehabilitation are not eligible.
