Tuesday, Dec. 24, Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Thursday, Dec. 26 are a County Holiday in observance of Christmas and the offices of Charleston County Government will be closed.
Homeless Services
Nonprofit organizations, government agencies, faith-based organizations and other groups are a part of the community's network of resources and support for homeless individuals and families. The continuum of services includes prevention, outreach, supportive services, emergency shelter, transitional housing and permanent housing. Charleston County's Community Services Department provides funding, via Housing and Urban Development's Emergency Solutions Grant, to qualified nonprofit agencies through a competitive application process.
