The County has identified 16 homes previously acquired from the Charleston Housing Authority for rehabilitation through the Charleston Home Program. The program allows interested parties to submit applications with creative approaches to renovate these homes into affordable, safe, and livable spaces for the citizens of Charleston County. Once the renovation is complete, the properties will be deeded over to the winning applicant for usage as rental properties or homeownership to an income-eligible candidate.

The awarding of the 16 homes will be divided into phases.

Phase I – Properties awarded to the following:

• 1535 Keswick Drive ~ Sea Island Habitat for Humanity

• 2017 Bishop Drive, Charleston, SC 29414 ~ Charleston Habitat for Humanities
