Charleston County receives grant funding annually from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to facilitate resources that develop viable communities. Eligible applications must fall within priority goals that can be found in the Five-Year Consolidated Plan. A pre-application workshop and Request for Applications (RFA) are generally released annually. Opportunities are available in the following funding streams for organizations that provide services to Charleston County low-to-moderate income residents:

Early Public Notice of Projects located in a Federal Flood Risk Management Standard (FFRMS) Floodplain - This is to give notice that Charleston County under Part 58 has determined that the following proposed action under the HOME program is located in a floodplain for the below project(s).
